How it works:

Step 1 - position the spray bottle approximately 10cm away from the CD. Spray 3 - 4 times evenly on the recording side of the CD.

Step 2 - place the CD flat on the disc holder of the unit with the sprayed recording side facing up.

Step 3 - close the lid. Take hold of the rotary knob and turn in a clockwise direction. Keep spinning for 30 seconds.

Step 4 - the disk is cleaned and is ready for use.

Result - The Disc Doctor will remove fine scratches but deep scratches on the CD will still be visible. However, deep scratches will be coated with the Cleaning Solution (evens out the scratch). The CD Player should not pick up the scratches and will not 'jump'. The CD can be recoated numerous times.

Q How often should I clean my CD's?
A As and when required, i.e. when marks appear on CD, e.g. fingerprints. Once cleaned, if CD's are stored and cared for correctly, cleaning is required less frequently.

Q If the multipurpose spray is finished, what should I use?
A The Multipurpose Cleaning Spray can be purchased separately.

Q How many CD's will I be able to clean with the 35ml's of cleaning solution?
A You will be able clean approximately 70 CD's with one bottle of cleaning solution.

Q Will Disc Doctor remove scratches on CD's?
A The cleaning solution removes very fine (hair line) scratches but will not remove very deep scratches. There is no product on the market that will. Proper storage of CD's should prevent scratches from occurring.
