What types of flooring can I clean with my Steam Mop?
Individual flooring manufacturer’s cleaning instructions should always
be followed; however when used as directed, the BISSELL Steam Mop is
safe and effective on virtually all floor surfaces.

What type of mop pads are used with the Steam Mop?
The Steam Mop comes with 2 Microfiber mop pads. These mop pads are reusable
and machine washable, which means less waste for the environment. Microfiber
pads are safe to use on all hard floor surfaces.
What type of maintenance is required for my Steam Mop?
Minimal. The replaceable filter protects the heater and pump from impurities
that may be found in your tap water. The filter should be changed when the
beads change color. If you find the beads are changing quickly, this is due
to the hardness of your water. To maximize performance of the filter you may
want to use distilled water. The Microfiber mop pads are reusable and
machine washable.
How large of an area can be cleaned before refilling the tank?
The Steam Mop will steam for approximately 15 minutes depending on how often
you depress the trigger. Plus, there is no waiting for refilling. As soon as
the tank is empty, simply remove the tank, refill and continue cleaning.
